Dragonfly Soft Flannel Swizzle Sticks feature a mallet head on the butt-end of the stick made of 28 layers of tightly stacked flannel.  The mallets sound soft and warm on drums (much softer than conventional compressed felt cores) and play seamless, silky swells on cymbals.  Because the diameter of the flannel discs is only .787” (20mm) in diameter, which is only slightly larger than the stick itself, it does not interfere with your hands and wrists like larger mallet heads can when playing with the tips of the sticks.
