The totally redesigned Dragonfly "Classical Timpani" sticks are meant to bridge the gap between your ultra-staccato "Baroque" sticks and more conventional felt-covered hard mallets.  These sticks are bright and very clear, but are warmer and slightly fuller than our Baroque stick.  Perfect for Haydn and Mozart- especially Scherzo movements- where single notes and slower rhythmic passages need to elegantly blend with the trumpets and winds but still sound appropriately bright and clean.  Disc-shaped core covered in synthetic suede on 14" carbon fiber handles.
