The hard suspended cymbal mallet is designed for playing rhythmic passages and brighter single notes. It has a small brass core covered in rubber with a tight cloth wrap. It is articulate, clear and very quick to speak, but still sounds like a mallet, not a hard stick. Perfect for passages in the Nutcracker, La Mer, Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances and countless other passages that require rhythmic clarity without the harshness of wood. Available on a .535" hickory handle, 13.75"  long or rattan.
